We can’t thank you enough. We had such a fantastic honeymoon at The Kahala! Everything was wonderful. What a beautiful spot, gorgeous beach, lovely ambiance, great customer service.... delicious food. Thank you very much. 
 

Thank you for the chocolate covered macadamia nuts and champagne. We enjoyed them on our balcony! 
We also had a dolphin encounter which we highly recommend. Not sure if you’ve ever had a review for that option at The Kahala but we would definitely recommend it to future guests at The Kahala.
 

We look forward to visiting The Kahala again and will gladly book through you! Let us know if there’s ever a special going on there, we will take advantage of it for sure!

I want to thank you so much for helping us with the Disney trip.  Everyone had a really great trip  - one of the grandkids said he didn't think it was possible to have a better vacation.

 

They did everything they could at least once and I got a "Worlds Greatist Gramma" trophy  presented to me at dinner on the last night. Although it thunder stormed every single day and rained for most of the day (a lot of activities cancelled) they were busy all the time. Rich thought it made it cooler so he didn't mind. I'm forwarding you a picture of the last day at the hotel before it was time to fly home. Thanks again!!!!

Bob, I can't thank you enough for another wonderful adventure!! All of the places you recommended were wonderful, from location to ambience to lovely and caring staff. The first week in Kenya at Leah's camp was truly amazing, followed by two nights at Ol Pejeta House, which I wholeheartedly would recommend to you and your clients.


We loved Zanzibar and Amsterdam, were so well taken care of, including the drivers who met us and took us back, and everything went very smoothly (if you don't mind a 3AM flight from Zanzibar!)


Thank you so very much, from Leah and from myself. I will always ask you for help, and my friends, when I tell them about our trip, want to know who helped arrange it. So you may be getting more calls from them.

Hi Bob, arrived home late last night after a long journey.
The trip was fabulous!!!  Thanks to your deft hand, we just followed the itinerary and showed up.  It rained alot but did not encumber us one bit.  Comes and goes. Suit up and go. Crowds minimal.


Hotels A.  Hotel Ingleterra was the best by far followed closely by Lungarno.  Next time we will use that hotel as a base and take day trips , if needed, to other small towns. Nothing beats a day on the trail than coming home to the luxury of a nice hotel with a great staff.


Rail A+.  No issues and ITALO RAIL was great. 


Rental Car A.  Europcar was great. No issues.  We will see if we get any tickets.  Don't recall speeding but we sure saw a lot of high speeders.


Transfer A. A must from Fiumicina to Hotel. Great way to be delivered to Hotel.


I think that covers it for now. So many great memories.
Next trip:  ROMA and HOLY LAND.  Hook up with 7-10 day tour in HOLY Land, back to Roma,  then back home.  3 week timespan.  Probably next FEB.

Thanks for checking in.  I hope you had a terrific holiday season.  We had a great time in Southeast Asia. 

 

National Geo always has very good guides so that you feel like you are getting to know something about the country and their culture, not just looking at monuments and statues.  On this trip we had the organizer guide, Jessica Yew from Borneo,  who was with us though all three countries, and then individual  in-country guides for Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. 

 

The hotels were marvelous, right out of a Somerset Maugham novel. Altogether a great time. We would recommend it to any of your other clients.

Hi Bob,

A somewhat belated huge THANK YOU for a fabulous trip! All of the hotels were superb - wasn't one that we didn't thoroughly love.  The Timeo was gorgeous - and we even got treated to a fireworks display one night as some celebration. 

 

Our room was at the corner that looked out over the pool and over the dining area so we had a spectacular show at midnight!  The Bellevue Syrene was gorgeous!  What a fabulous property!  And the Il San Pietro was to die for - I sent pictures to my family of the view we had (again a corner) down on Positano and also out to the sea and along the coast up to Amalfi. 

 

The response I got unanimously is that we were spoiled!  Rather true...  Same with Capri - we loved the Caesar Augustus and also hit it off with the staff (and the owner and his son whom we happened to meet the day we were leaving) - all really quite nice people and a great property!

And fabulous you talked us out of a car on the Amalfi coast! 

You're a true gem - so glad we found you!  Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

WE CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR YOUR HELP IN ORGANIZING AND ARRANGING OUR TRIP...IT WAS THE BEST VACATION WE'VE EVER, EVER HAD.................

The Palace Hotel in Como was great and they were very nice.  We were all happy with our rooms.

The Villa Laura was AWESOME (as was Sophie)....totally exceeded our expectations.  It had a vegetable garden to die for (cabbage, lettuce, kale, tomato, peppers, celery, eggplant, zucchini, herbs) and a fruit tree grove of apples, pears, pommergranite, figs, grapes and plums)  REALLY?????? We made amazing salads and cut fruit for our incredible selection of cheeses.....BEST food on the planet for SURE! (and inexpensive.......seriously???)

The tour company/tour guides were UNBELIEVABLE! Carl in Chianti was over the top good.........we had a darling tour guide in Assisi too......One guest may fly him to CLE when he's in NY for a bit for a private 50th birthday party....we liked him THAT much.  Our guests said that those 2 tour guides were the BEST they had ever had.....I told them it was because of YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! The best tour guide we ever had was the guy you set us up with in Pompeii a few years ago....You are truly connected.  George and I sung your praises at least 3x a day.......possibly more...

The Hotel Hassler was very accommodating and wonderful as usual......we actually had the SAME room as last time......so, it was very familiar.  Lovely view of The Vatican.....and LOVED the great air conditioning...it was terribly hot in Rome........2-3 showers a day......LOL! 

AGAIN, MANY THANKS TO YOU FOR ALL YOU DO AND DID FOR US....YOU ARE TRULY THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS...............

Dearest Bob,


I know that it was not easy getting commitments from our group, but I must tell you that our time in Italy with  20 guests (four at the Lungarno) was truly  magical in every sense of the word. The Villa itself, the rooms, the beautiful grounds and the extraordinary service made our stay not only delightful, but beyond our expectations. 

 

Tamara was exceptional and Luisa was a wonderful help to us as well.  We truly felt that we were in someone’s home and we were all treated as royalty. It was a perfect setting for our guests to come back to after our excursions( including the cooking school which was delightful.)  We had to make a few adjustments on Sunday as one of our guests could not find our beach club(after Richard told everyone both in an itinerary we sent and while we were on the bus) and we had to cancel Pisa, but our bus driver was remarkable and understanding and everything worked out well.

 

We did have our dinner in Lucca at Punto and it was memorable, farm to table food and they set a long table for us in the garden with lanterns. It was enchanting. Richard and I went to a wine tasting there while we were in Lucca and before our other guests arrived and perhaps our reference to our dinner the year prior with our hosts, the Prices, made them roll out the red carpet for us. The food there is extraordinary and Tomas and Jacopo made it extremely special for us. I think that you should consider it for other clients and refer to our party as a standard.  Our dinner in the cellar at Villa La Massa was intimate, beautiful and delicious.  It was a perfect beginning. Each restaurant was unique and lovely and delicious.


Thank you for being patient with us. I think it is almost impossible to be a tour guide, but Italians are so lovely and accommodating that they made it effortless for us and your planning ahead with us gave the majority of our guests a framework.  We appreciate your hard work and we couldn’t have done it smoothly or as creatively without your help. Even the itinerary that you printed set the tone.


My sincere thanks to you for making this a trip to remember. I will have Richard send you a few photos and one of the Palazzo where we held our anniversary party.

We absolutely loved El Encanto!!! Thank you so much for everything that you did, the reservations, the hotel rooms, the breakfast credits for each room, the $100/per room resort credit were all just perfect!!!


By far this is one of the best hotel staffs we have ever had anywhere!!! They were beyond helpful, Caitlin at the front desk, the food staff, the pool staff , the car valets, were all unbelievable to us. Could not have been any friendlier, helpful, and just all around wonderful to us. This absolutely added to the enjoyment of the week at El Encanto. We loved that it was a small gorgeous hotel.


Thank you so much for everything! It was a wonderful perfect vacation for our family, We all loved it!!! Baby Sam had the best time ever!!!!

Christine, the trip was everything I had hope for and more. It was beautiful! You really arranged a trip of a life time for Bob and I. The accommodations were all wonderful and the views spectacular. Our favorites, although each city was incredible, were probably Cefalu and Positano.

 

The tour guides, Stefano in Tuscany and Gigi in Rome, were charming and really added so much to the experience. I really could go on and on but you already know how wonderful it all is. It really is a beautiful country with kind and beautiful people. I need to work on my Italian for our next trip. 


We definitely want to return to Sicily and Positano, as well as new places in Italy. 


If not for the stress of my job right now, I’d be floating on air from the fabulous time in Italy.

Erika Chiostri put together two weeks in Spain for our honeymoon that were just perfect. We decided where we wanted to go and for how long but her contact in Spain hooked us up with the most amazing hotels.

 

Since it was off-season and due to her connection, we stayed in places we'll never get to stay in again. It was just the most perfect trip and we couldn't have asked for anything more.
