JAMESON GOLF LINKS

This challenging traditional links course by Bernard Langer and Stan Eby overlooks the Irish Sea from links land just north of illustrious Portmarnock Golf Club. The early holes play leisurely away from the sea before the course comes alive just before the turn as the holes make their way through shaggy dunes back towards the coast. The back nine provides a series of visually stunning links holes loaded with deep bunkers, featuring steep faces giving the course a traditional look while incorporating modern architectural techniques.

K CLUB - THE PALMER NORTH COURSE

Located 17 miles from Dublin city center, this 550-acre, 5-star golf resort has no equal in Ireland.  Arnold Palmer designed both 18-hole courses, this one the North Course opened in 1991 and served as host for the 2006 Ryder Cup. It has also been the site for multiple European Open championships.  It is a difficult golf course. There are 14 lakes on this meticulously manicured parkland layout with large, quick and severely sloped greens.  True to form, Palmer’s favorite hole was No. 4, a risk-reward par 5 where overhanging trees guard the right side and the green entices golfers to take a swing.

LA PAVONIERE GOLF CLUB

Located in the heart of Tuscany, the Arnold Palmer designed course features hazards that are cleverly brought into play. The fairways are slightly rolling, and the course is surrounded by holm-oak woods, cluster pines and cypresses. The land has been given some gentle relief but water and trees shape the majority of holes. The 6th hole is a spectacular par-4 featuring an island green that presents a treacherous approach shot. The 4th has an island green as well.
